Excellent customer service - good customer experience all round

Really good experience dealing with Russ at Salix Motor Company. From the initial test drive to the handover of the vehicle, we felt that we were looked after and advised excellently. The couple of little jobs that we identified to be carried out before we completed on the purchase were carried out to the letter, and in fact Russ went above and beyond to make sure everything was sorted for us. Would highly recommend

Russ, the MD of Salix was really helpful and understanding. He delivered the car to us the next day and we are delighted with it. Would not hesitate to contact him again if we need another motor.

Only collected the car for my son a couple of days ago but dealing with Russ was very easy and straightforward.

Russ explained the car over the phone to me a few days before enabling me to make a decision and pay a deposit without seeing it. On the day of collection, the car was as clean and tidy as Russ had said it was. Russ seems a decent honest guy that keeps good quality cars that he turns out well.

First-rate buying experience! No pressure selling at all, just honesty about their margin when negotiating, but after sales has been something else!We bought a 2016 Skoda Fabia, freshly serviced by SMC, but a few weeks after purchase the 'check engine' light came on. SMC checked it out - failed oxygen sensor in the exhaust. I couldn't get there in good time to have it fixed, so the owner drove to my house in Eastleigh to collect the car and get it all sorted in one day! Absolutely faultless, and now so is the car! Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a used car. I really appreciate this level of service.

Efficient, cheerful, helpful

Given plenty of time to look at the car on our own. They obligingly kept the car for a week while we were on holiday and we picked it up on our return. Treated cheerfully and respectfully throughout.

Great customer service

Russ did everything he promised and more in fixing up a few areas of the car ahead of collection, even when he knew he already had the sale. No pushy hard selling. Fair prices. Good range especially of small, "first" cars with solid histories.

Purchased a Fiat 500 - first car for new driver a week ago from Salix Motor Company. The process from start to finish was faultless. Russ the owner allowed us to view the cars on the forecourt at our leisure without any pushy sales talk at all. When we approached him with question's he was highly knowledgeable and honest, showing us all the documents, including mot and service paperwork. Collected the car five days later, it was immaculate - like new. Cleaned, polished, petrol in the tank and all the paperwork ready to exchange and complete. Would highly recommend this garage and will definitely be back for another car in due course. Thank you.

Just bought a tidy i10 from Salix and have received great customer service. No pressure sales, sent off for a long test drive and trusted me to drive off inn the car when I had issues with online banking to sort it out from home. Can't really ask for more from and really pleased with the car.
